Being heartbroken is really intoxicating… it’s like, you’ve been so hurt that you feel like nothing else can touch you. You feel almost invincable; it’s a kind of terrible freedom. You know that stage where where you don’t care about yourself anymore? I was just like, I’m going to go out and I don’t care what happens to me. You feel very broken. You can go out and not come home for three days and not have to call anyone because you feel like you don’t have anyone to answer to, because you’re not in the relationship anymore and there’s nothing to ground you. - Florence Welch
